Serving up the best of the best fried chicken with a side of R&B, a hefty portion of soul with a laugh that makes the other chicks blush. Just like the song says if you're good to mama, mama's good to you, and boy is this mama going to be good to you.
Sylvia left the Deep South and has roosted in the heart of Soho to give London's poultry loving boys and girls just what they need. Serving up the best of the best fried chicken with a side of R&B, a hefty portion of soul and laugh that makes the other chicks blush, Ma' Plucker is going to be your number one chicken stop.
As the name might suggest, Ma’Plucker’s a fried chicken shop. Not in the East or South, but slap bang in the middle of Soho on Beak Street, no less. Build your own here - start with a base of salad, bun or waffle; choose your sauce (we say Kansas BBQ, natch), and then decide whether you want your chicken chipotle rotisseried, buttermilk dipped or hickory spiced pulled. Sides are Deep South inspired and beers and margaritas are on offer til midnight. We feel this could get dangerous.
