It’s June and that can only mean one thing… summer is officially here! HOORAY! It’s time to embrace the sunshine and celebrate in true British style with a picnic… (after all it is national picnic week!) Here’s our list of the perfect hampers available to you in London, from sweet treats to bespoke boards to Argentina style to ultimate luxury… we’ve got it packed up and ready to go.
MELROSE & MORGAN, primrose hill
Definitively British, this Primrose Hill spot and their hampers in particular, never disappoint. This year their picnic style is in the form of sharing boards, which you can use to design your own bespoke picnic. There are five to choose from and include a meat board with a selection of cured meats from Cobble Lane Cured, a smoked fish board with smoked salmon and trout pate, a cheese selection, vegetarian and sweet.
Our recommendation would have to be the cheese board with incredible Hampshire baby buffalo brie. Boards are £15 each with four boards recommended for a picnic for four.
