Old Tom & English is a unique restaurant & Bar serving modern British food, vintage cocktails & carefully curated wines in a specially designed space occupying an 18th century basement in the heart of Soho.
Its sharing menu consists of small plates for convivial sharing and the intimate space also lends itself to group celebrations with its contemporary and comfortable design, a take on the relaxed elegance of home entertaining in the 1960s.
A chic cocktail bar modeled on 1960s Soho and located within the heart of Soho itself, Old Tom and English is all very meta. Ring on the doorbell of the inconspicuous black door to be led downstairs to the classy surroundings where sleek marble surfaces, dramatic red carpets and gas fires reign. As is only in keeping with its name, the cocktail menu is staunchly English with barrel aged gin leading the way. However, the food is far from an afterthought. The classic British menu features elegant small plates, such as deep fried popcorn cockles and beautiful smoke wood-pigeon, which are sure to jostle for your attention aside the stunning cocktails.
