Carom, in the heart of Soho is a Pan Indian restaurant with an excellent menu developed by head chef Vishnu Natarajan. You can also come and enjoy cocktails in our Tea Light Lounge. Carom, named after the Indian spice (also known as ajwain), specialises in authentic pan Indian dishes; an extensive choice of dishes in a variety of sizes allows you to tailor your menu to your appetite, so you can sample just a few plates with a drink or take your time over an indulgent feast.
Tacked onto the busy Meza bar, Carom is overseen by head chef Vishnu Natarajan. His mantra, ‘keep it simple, honour the ingredient’ comes into play with his refreshingly approachable menu. Described as Pan Indian cuisine, you’ll find familiar faces among the dishes as well as new ones such as tandoori parsnips, a gin sizzler and a venison shank quarma. All tantalisingly moreish, this isn’t your usual Ruby. Accompanying drinks from Meza draw on spices and flavours of the traditional tandoor and are a London steal at under £8. Bonus tip? The Late Night Specials, served between 1 and 2am, start at just £5 and the late bites are £1.60 each. We appreciate 24 hour dining and this is a firm step in the right direction. What are you waiting for?
