Trader Vic's is a London institution and home of the Mai Tai cocktail. Sample French Polynesian-style cuisine or try a refreshing drink or two whilst enjoying live music in the bar every night. Admire the traditional Tiki carvings adorning the walls.
Located in the world famous London Hilton on Park Lane in trendy Mayfair. Home of the Mai Tai and all things tiki. A voyage to Trader Vic’s will bring to you a magnificent array of delights and entertainment; be it from our boathouse bar concoctions and specialties or our restaurant delicacies.
Decades ahead of his time, Vic “The Trader” Bergeron chose to offer Chinese dishes alongside the then contemporary Continental cuisine, creating the original fusion menu. Today, Trader Vic’s continues the tradition with an ever-evolving menu featuring dishes from the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Asia, and Japan.
Taste The World® at Trader Vic’s and enjoy the subtle smoky flavors imparted by our Chinese Wood-fired Ovens, an ancient cooking method dating back to the Han Dynasty, with dishes like Indonesian Rack of Lamb or our fork-tender BBQ Spare Ribs.
There are two words that sum up Trader Vic's: a riot. As hotel restaurants go, you'd be unlikely to find a Polynesian beach hangout anywhere outside the Pacific but the Park Lane Hilton have done it again with a charismatic, if a little over the top, dining experience. You have to start with the infamous Mai Tai (created by Vic himself), then settle in for a night of travel as the menu takes you round the world and back again. They've recently remodeled their decor and upgraded their wood-fired ovens so their smokey, fruity Indonesian rack of lamb is better than ever and we suggest giving ordering the lobster and mango salad too. Head here after payday as you'll be needing deep pockets after you get a taste of the tiki.
