From brisk brunches and post-shop pit-stops through to lunches, dinners and after-work cocktails, Gordon Ramsay's Heddon Street Kitchen offers a relaxed, modern European menu. Head chef Maria Tampakis earned her culinary stripes at Bread Street Kitchen and before that spent time at the three Michelin-starred restaurant Jean-Georges in NYC.
Heddon Street Kitchen is the West End counterpart to Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen and offers a more relaxed environment compared with much of what’s on offer in Mayfair. Housed over two floors with a contemporary interior, featuring yellow leather banquettes, wooden bistro chairs and bare tables and an open kitchen along one wall, while upstairs the tables overlooking Heddon Street are definitely the most sought after. The menu is mostly European with a few additional dishes taking their cue from around the globe, such as the Tamarind spiced chicken wings and the Spicy tuna tartare. The mains are uncomplicated and grown-up, featuring something to please even the most fussy customer.
