Although Borough Market was our first site in London, Moxon Street was our first bricks and mortar shop. As well as our meat and poultry counter we have a broad selection of cooked and cured produce here, and each lunchtime we serve hot roast meat sandwiches and sausage rolls to take away. Each night the shop is home to our butchery classes; if you’d like to learn a bit more about cutting, selecting and cooking meat, you can read about them here. Next door you’ll find a fabulous array of cheese, traiteur and fresh produce, and not far away is a fishmonger and plenty of good cafes and restaurants.
The Ginger Pig is the ultimate meat-lover's butchers. They have left virtually no stone unturned, in the world of meat, to deliver quality on all fronts. It's quite easy to forget they are one of London's most prolific purveyors of quality meat, if you're distracted by their world-famous cookbooks, butchery classes, sausages, bacon, carving classes, sausage rolls, hot roast sandwiches, preserves, scotch eggs, pies and well.. everything meat related. They are suppliers of some of London's best meat-eateries (Hawksmoor, Honest Burgers as well as Dishoom and Foxlow ), M Restaurants; as well as providing a home delivery service (through hubbub). The staff are extremely helpful and Knowledgeable whether you're a master of meat or an a-meat-ure (sorry). The Ginger Pig has multiple sites across London and we couldn't recommend them enough!
