Peruvian-inspired food made with locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients and a vibrant cocktail bar with expertly made drinks, wine and London-brewed beers. Dishes on the menu include salmon, watercress and beetroot ceviche, parsnip and plantain tacos and Gloucester Old Spot pork ribs with an Amazonian honey glaze. The cocktail bar will support British distilleries of vodka and gin and London-brewed beers while piscos will come with elderflower and infused with seasonal British fruits.
London's latest food trend is surely Peruvian with restaurants rushing to add pisco sours and ceviche to their menus. Pachamama may be riding the wave but we think they're bringing with them a bit of extra cosiness that's lacking from some of the slicker places in town. You'll find the usual tiger's milk dishes here, served on fluted plates rather than glass bowls, and vibrant salads to accompany chillied ribs and cornbread. We like that they're using British ingredients, particularly in the drinks - championing the excellent vodka that we're producing these days - and thoroughly recommend asking for the passionfruit pisco.
