Bacchus Sundays is the brain-child of the Bacchus Pub & Kitchen team. Formerly of 177 Hoxton Street it now resides as a weekly residency just down the road at the modern and distinctly characterful Hoxton Street Studios. Sticking to their original ethos of serving traditional English roast dinners, taking eating back to its roots of unpretentious service, relaxed surroundings and simply stated menus with honest prices.
Sustainability, seasonality and provenance is everything to the Bacchus tea, when sourcing supplies and creating menus. The idea is to provide London with a relaxed venue for eating the finest of British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent wine at a great price. The décor has been likened to a New York loft, with high ceilings and a sleek white finish offering the perfect canvas for which to serve our award-winning meals. The studios are in operation throughout the week and artists in residence’s work adorns the walls creating an ever-changing exhibition to ponder whilst you wile away your lazy day. Bacchus Sundays is built around, and by, a group of strong individuals working closely together to create a unique environment.
Bacchus Sundays is an exciting pop-up from the team at Bacchus Pub & Kitchen, serving some of Lonond's most sought after roast dinners in a unique setting. Bacchus Sundays can be found at Hoxton Street Studios where the artists in residence’s work hangs on the walls and adds another level to the dining experience. The menu is small and simple but perfectly created, featuring a dish for the ‘undecided’ including beef, pork and chicken for those who just can’t make up their mind. The service is relaxed and the prices are fair – it’s clear that the team behind Bacchus Sundays just want you to enjoy seasonally sourced and excellently cooked food.
