ROKA Aldwych, located moments from the Strand and minutes from the River Thames and Somerset House. Bringing its unique style of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki cuisine and urban design to its fourth London outpost marks the 10-year anniversary of Rainer Becker’s flagship opening in Charlotte Street.
Roka are back and this time they’re bringing their award-winning wares to the Strand in the biggest of their branches yet. Making its home in an old office block, Roka Aldwych can seat a huge 160 covers in their large communal lounge bar and dining area. Expect contemporary Japanese dining with the Robata grill taking the limelight and serving up their famous smoky meats and Japanese vegetables as well as delicate sushi and sashimi. Alongside their signature dishes, the restaurant has created a menu of exclusive cocktails, inspired by Japan’s Yaeama Islands, which are begging to be tried.
