Hill & Szrok combine the very best of the traditional butcher with a 21st Century Cookshop. We cook what we sell and we sell what we cook. By day we are a traditional butchers specialising in free range and organic meats from small farms around England. By night we transform and serve up our best and most interesting cuts from the butchers in a buzzy 25 seater restaurant with a selection of great wines. The Cookshop can be traced back to the 15thCentury and were the origins of today’s Restaurants. They were shops which sold food, but would also cook it for their customers who would then eat it at a communal table. We have revived this formula for the 21st Century. Our service allows the customer to choose not only the cut but the piece of meat they wish to eat, but then watch it cooked while drinking a recommended wine.
