Oxford Circus, Goodge Street: 10 Minute Walk
Homeslice, Wells Street has a distinctive look and feel, combining vintage tiling and leathers, reclaimed brass fittings, exposed brick with concrete and marble finishes to create a refined and relaxed interior. With 120 covers it is a larger space than Homeslice, Neal’s Yard, encompassing a main dining area, dedicated takeaway space, outdoor seating, cocktail bar and counter-top seating looking into the restaurant’s open kitchen.
The signature Homeslice offering will remain the same, with an evolving menu of fresh, seasonal 20” pizzas, available whole or by the slice to eat in or to go. The Wells Street menu starts with the classics, including Margherita and Salami, Rocket & Parmesan, balanced with more unexpected flavour and texture combinations such as Mackerel, Mint, Pea & Broad Bean and Aubergine, Cauliflower Cheese, Spinach & Harissa.
Organic wines by the magnum, frizzante prosecco on tap, locally sourced lager and a rotating selection of London craft beers continue to dominate the drinks offering with the addition of a seasonal cocktail menu served from the bar, including the likes of Mezcal & Cucumber Margaritas and Hibiscus Sours.
New York style pizza favourites have brought their gigantic 20” pies to Noho. Like the original, there’s prosecco on tap and plenty of craft beers while you decide which of the moreish toppings you could possibly attempt to share. The goat shoulder, sumac and savoy cabbage is a firm TTF favourite but we wouldn’t say no to the classic salami, rocket and parmesan. The restaurant’s bigger than it’s older sister which means there’s more room for all your pals - there’s a no booking policy but park yourself at the bar while you wait and order a Mezcal cocktail or two.
