LIMA Floral was created with the aim of presenting Peru as a country full of diversity: ecologically, culturally and historically, sharing an authentic and native culinary offering along with the latest findings direct from Virgilio’s Central restaurant in Peru. Peruvian cuisine is a melting pot of different cultures which have come together to form a unique blend of flavours and techniques. With the arrival of European and Asian immigrants centuries ago, their ingredients and customs intertwined over the decades with those of the locals creating one of the fastest growing gastronomic movements today. Sustainability is integral for us. While sourcing the majority of our ingredients from the British Isles, we will also showcase Peru’s vast biodiversity by bringing some unique organic and wild produce from small growers based in Peru, specifically from the Andes and the Amazon.
A ‘Pisco Bar’ in which the menu will be designed for sharing and served as finger food, with small piqueos dishes, best described as Peruvian tapas. These dishes will sit alongside an extensive cocktail list based on Pisco infusions with Amazonian fruits, Andean herbs, and local UK products as well. Located in Covent Garden, LIMA Floral will be grounded and unpretentious, sophisticated and modern but with a youthful South American sense of fun.
Pretty as a picture, Lima Floral is an artistic Peruvian dream. Delicate plates bursting with flavour and fun will whisk you to another multicoloured world. In a fresh, bistro setting, Lima Floral's diversely cultured menu is an education in itself. To make the most of your adventure, order a mixture of plates to share and take a trip downstairs to sample the pisco sour in the cocktail and tapas bar downstairs. Less pricy than its older sibling, Lima Floral still packs a strong Peruvian Punch!
