Housed in the impressive Grade II listed art-deco Alphabeta Building on the corner of Finsbury Square, the restaurant is a whitewashed, high-ceilinged space with understated ornamentation; clean lines and simple forms are partitioned by stunning moveable panels instead of walls.
A stunning 18-seater solid oak bar serves Anna and Rob’s globally inspired tapas plates alongside a range of sherry based cocktails and classic liveners. The dining room offers a full A la Carte, and combines Hollywood banquettes and beautiful walnut tables with specially commissioned hand-blown lamps.
For parties and large groups there is a striking private dining room, separated by a tall, deep blue frame with moveable panels, which overlook a large communal table seating up to 24 guests.
Following the success of her joint ventures with Peter Gordon and her own Clerkenwell restaurant, Anna Hansen brings her simple Kiwi cafe and restaurant to the edge of the Silicon Roundabout in Finsbury Square. Start with breakfast (pastries or full cooked plates), fill up with afternoon tea (£27.50 with bubbles) and stay right through for British meets New Zealand dinner at its best.
