Clapham Common: 5 Minute Walk
We are an independent neighbourhood bar and restaurant that has drawn inspiration from the local area, its people and its sense of fun to create a stylish yet relaxed backdrop that welcomes you in to make the pace your own whatever time or day. We’ve got A fine-looking roof terrace, breakfast and brunch menus to wake up for, craft beers and cleverly concocted Cocktails, sociable sharing plates, and a late licence until 1am on Friday and Saturday with DJs creating the perfect soundtrack to your weekend.
Our cocktail menu focuses on classic cocktails injected with No. 32 personality featuring spirit infusions, house made syrups and sherbets. There’s a great selection to choose from, a cocktail to suit any time of day; including lighter and fresher brunch tipples, late afternoon easy-going drinks and ending the evening with more complex flavour concoctions. Our beer selection combines urban craft beers from Redemption Brewery alongside big name favourites such as Becks and Stella Artois. We’ve also handpicked wines for every occasion – a crisp, wind down white for after work drinks, a big bold red for Sunday roasts, and a perfectly pale rosé for sunshine days on the terrace.
All our food is fresh, scratch-cooked, with a focus on well-sourced ingredients; from breakfast and brunch, to social snacks and Sunday roasts. We think you’ll love our small and sharing dishes (imagine crispy peppered squid or a pot of sticky ribs) that complement the well-chosen beer, wine and cocktail lists to enjoy from lunch into late evening.
Breakfast and brunch favourites include our breakfast sourdough bruschetta with roast tomatoes, spinach, avocado, shaved bacon and breakfast mayo and blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and whipped crème fraiche, not forgetting Sundance juices, Caravan coffee ground on-site and our mean bloody Mary for those less virtuous days. You won’t want to miss our great roasts either, served from 12 noon on Sundays with all the traditional accompaniments.
Spoilt for choice No32 offers not only street-side dining but also a first floor terrace where olive trees abound. The wine list will help transport you to warmer climates, chose the Picpoul, my go-to for that South of France feeling or push the boat our and order the Chateau Riotor if you don’t mind sipping rose in your coat. Here, comfort food abounds in inspired dishes like the Chicken and Chorizo Schnitzel or the Taleggio and Avocado on Sourdough and it’s rude not to try something from the excellent pud menu.
