Angler is our Michelin-starred seafood restaurant, overseen by Executive Chef, Tony Fleming. Chef Tony’s talented team is bolstered by Head Pastry Chef, Keisha Meakin and Executive Sommelier, Benoît Allauzen. Stepping out of the elevator on the top floor of South Place Hotel, guests are greeted by a long, elegant dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the City of London. A specially commissioned, mirrored ceiling by Grace & Webb (literally) reflects the glamorous location, a destination for gourmets, romantics and power lunchers alike.
The Chef’s View is Angler’s semi-private table seating up to 14 people, with views of Chefs at work and iconic City landmarks such as the Gherkin. Angler also has an intimate bar and roof terrace for dining, drinking and dancing.
Angler is another reason to head east, specifically to the slightly less sexy area of Moorgate. Some impressive views of town and some equally impressive dishes to tuck into, the fish fans will enjoy themselves here. You'll find sustainably sourced (of course) scallops and crab starters, bream and cod to follow and alternatives for those who prefer their food with legs, or the animal-free variety.
