South Kensington underground station is only a short walk away from the restaurant.
Ramusake is a fun, relaxed local hangout on the Old Brompton Road. Bringing an exciting new eating experiencec to South Kensington as well as a chic and vibrant night bar.
Taking inspiration from the Izakayas of Japan, Ramusake is a members' restaurant, combining Scott Hallsworth's (ex Nobu and of Kurobuta success) post-Japanese food with Piers Adam's know-how of cocktails and music, creating an incredible vibe.
You wouldn't expect an East London vibe in a West London hangout but that's exactly what the formidable team behind Ramusake is aiming for. Inspired by izakayas (where food is an accompaniment to the drinks, rather than the other way round), this Japanese fusion spot is shaking things up a little. Expect things like sashimi pizza and peach tear bellinis to tickle your tastebuds, and ensure you order from a sake or too (with it in the restaurant's name, it'd be rude not to). Open late night, there's a club-like atmosphere so a noticeable difference to other Japanese jaunts but we think this is a welcome addition - who needs the same old sushi after all?
