Chris Edwards and Dave Tregenza are proud to introduce The Shrub and Shutter, a restaurant & cocktail bar open at 336 Cold Harbour Lane in Brixton. Following the success of their recently conceived consultancy business Salts of The Earth, this is first venue proper to feature nought but the creative output of two well-loved drinks impresarios with a combined 25 years experience in the industry. The Shrub and Shutter serves exciting, innovative british cuisine alongside a drinks programme made up of modern, , interactive and fresh bespoke cocktails in addition to classics created with local, seasonal and homemade ingredients
Opened on Cold Harbour Lane in Brixton, The Shrub and Shutter is a new cocktail bar opened by Chris Edwards and Dave Tregenza. The success of their consultancy business, Salts of The Earth, has lead them to open their own venture which puts a classic spin on the Brixton scene. Their main feature is the drinks which is made up of ‘modern, innovative, interactive and fresh bespoke cocktails in addition to classics created with local, seasonal and homemade ingredients’. To compliment their selection they also offer bar snacks; cured meats, smoked salt beef sandwich, steaks, and a set menu, which changes weekly. Their set menu has previously included venison Carpaccio with pickled beets and horseradish cream, followed by rump of lamb with creamed potatoes petit pois ala francais and finished with a lemon possett served with pickled flowers, blueberries and candy.
