Brixton: 11 Minute Walk
Somewhere in Brixton there’s a door. Behind the door there’s a staircase. Upstairs there’s a party, and the party is yours. There’s custom cocktails and new street food every week, all set to thrilling music over two floors of bone and gold.As variety is the spice of life, each weekend we welcome a star of the street food scene to our kitchen. The most delectable flavours from the foodies of London, all in one place. No booking required, just rock up and chow down. From our zingy homemade Frozen Margaritas to our frothylicious Peach Jam Sours you can find your perfect cocktail, or just work your way through them all until you’re up there and dancing like it’s Mick Hucknall’s funeral.
Discreetly lurking on the corner of Acre Lane is a speakeasy looking door leading upstairs to a small bar, walls adorned with skulls and seating available for around 20 people. Although mainly a bar, the exciting feature of this place is that each week, they bring in a new pop-up chef. Previously to grace the kitchen has been El Marinero serving up Spanish fish dishes, which include whitebait, scallops and chorizo and Howards Meat Co, which brings Austin style barbeque dishes to London. The drinks are really reasonably priced with a variety of cocktails flavoured with an assortment of herbs and spices and as it stays open till 2am, it’s getting a great reputation for the perfect weekend plans.
