The Refinery provides you with something special to savour. exuding industrial sophistication, the refinery is a must for cocktail lovers & perfect for pre- or post- dinner drinks, whilst a mixology table is ideal for those who want to mix & muddle for themselves. a stunning alfresco terrace with deck chairs provides the perfect playpen for those wanting to soak up the sun.
Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner & drinks, the refinery can meet your needs any time of the day. quirky cocktails & a wide selection of wines sit alongside a carefully crafted seasonal menu, whilst music & a late license until the early hours on thursday & friday make the refinery the perfect place to start & end the party.
The Refinery is a ‘retro chic cafe and cocktail bar’ in the fairly new Bankside development, that slightly blustery bit of town that’s not quite the South Bank and not quite Borough. Housing plenty of hungry workers, it's prime real estate for this Drake & Morgan bar. Throughout the summer, they’ve pitched some deckchairs, set up an outside screen and are showing a selection of classic movies and sport. Just make sure you pick a sunny day for it as our rainy Monday was far from ideal. The Refinery is an ideal post-work drinks destination or good for a stop-off away from the crowds of the South Bank. The food isn’t it’s biggest draw but the drinks are reasonably priced and there’s a small but nice selection of beers. It’s friendly and laidback but it just might not blow the bloody doors off.
