Resident of Paradise Row has opened in Bethnal Green serving up a modern London take on all things good. We aim to be your home away from home, and we are serving delicious dishes as a feasting menu concept that is perfect for groups, or an a la carte where all the mains can be scaled up to feed the whole table. The bigger the order the better value you get per head. We hot smoke (in the kitchen) and cold smoke (in the shed on the terrace) fresh produce on site and if you come on the right days you will be able to see flanks of salmon or rounds of cheese being brought out of the cold smoker right outside the front door.
As well as the food, we have a large horseshoe bar which is open 7 days a week with beautifully crafted classic cocktails, special treats like our Ethical Espresso Martini, local and imported beers (including the best gluten free option we could source) and a European wine list truly worth exploring. We’re also fast becoming Bethnal Green’s finest spot for a full Sunday Roast with all the trimmings. Two of the three owners were the masterminds behind Bacchus Sundays which years later are still rated as one of the best roasts in town. Let’s see how long before Resident of Paradise Row’s roast gets noticed too. Book in advance to make sure you get a seat.
Bethnal Green's been exploding with new bars and restaurants recently and Resident's another to add to the list. There's a hedonistic feel to this place, which is compounded by their feasting approach to food. The more you order, the better value you get as plates can be scaled up in size to feed the whole table and banish any food envy-related squabbling. They smoke onsite, have an ethical European winelist and declare their roasts to be legendary - we think these are three things worth checking out, just to make sure.
