Launch of Out of Office - the Battersea co-working hub and micro pub (PR)

TTF Features - Launch of Out of Office - the Battersea co-working hub and micro pub (PR)

Out of Office is a new community driven members’ work space and micro pub for freelancers, entrepreneurs and small businesses in South West London. Members from all sectors will grow through a strong network geared towards innovation, knowledge sharing and collaboration, while supporting local residents through a partnership with Devas, a non-profit which creates opportunities for young people in Battersea. In the evening, the Out of Office micro pub will open, offering a rotating selection of over 50 craft beers, artisan spirits and wines at the bar.

Founded by Boutique Bar Brands, London’s forward-thinking premium drinks management agency, the hot desk hub and micro pub is dedicated to changing the nature of working alone. By creating a design-led, familiar place where multi-disciplinary creators from neighbouring boroughs can both work and play, Out of Office will give their members the freedom to build meaningful personal and professional connections as part of a mutually supportive community.

Out of Office Co-Working

During the day, Out of Office will be a buzzing, entrepreneurial co-working space for those looking for somewhere to do the work they love alongside likeminded individuals with a social conscience. An honesty bar offering speciality coffee from Hackney artisan roasters Climpson & Sons and loose-leaf brews from London-based Good & Proper Tea, will keep the community fueled, while the team will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Members will have access to bullet proof WIFI, printing, lockable storage facilities and secure bike parking. Devas event space will also be available for hire, including a rooftop basketball court, a recording studio and modern kitchen where food and drink creators can experiment.

Philip Harding, co-founder of Boutique Bar Brands and Out of Office, said, “We have always worked in a shared office and saw how everyone’s businesses grew through accelerated serendipity. We also had a lot more fun. When our last office on board HMS President closed, Boutique Bar Brands needed a new home. As the line between work and life gets increasingly blurred, we wanted to create a flexible space where London’s creators can both operate their business and socialise, while sharing our passion for beer and supporting local young people and their community through our landlords at Devas.”

Flexible Out of Office membership starts from £75, with unlimited access available for £200 per month. Curious local businesses and freelancers can register online for a free trial at

Something had to be done about one of these, and considering a life without food was unthinkable, creating a food-guide was the next logical way to go.
