At Try This For, we love it when Cocktails in the City comes to town. This weekend, twenty five bars each teamed up with a spirit to shower you lovely Londoners with their creative collaborations. We were lucky to get our hands on the recipes for some of the weekend’s favourites, and it’d be rude not to share them with you, right?

 

 

 

BEST COCKTAIL - Coq D’Argent’s Far East

 

WHAT YOU NEED

30ml U’luvka vodka infused with kaffir lime leaves and chilli

30ml Sochu with green tea

10ml lemon juice

15ml agave nectar

Egg white

Ice

Aromatic bitters, kaffir lime leaves, lavender flowers and pink pepper to garnish

Cocktail shaker

 

HOW TO MAKE IT 

Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, give it a hard shake, strain into a coupe and garnish!

 

 

 

 

 

 

BEST STAND, TEAM & EXPERIENCE - Loves & Company’s Tonka Beany Martini

 

WHAT YOU NEED

20ml Tia Maria

40ml Absolut Vodka

20ml espresso

20ml Tonka Bean Monin syrup

Ice

Cocktail shaker

 

HOW TO MAKE IT

Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, give it a hard shake, strain over ice into a highball glass.

 

 

 

 

 

THE RUNNER UP - Barrio’s Calipso Jigger

 

WHAT YOU NEED

35ml Santa Teresa Anejo

10ml Falernum

10ml Calipso syrup (it’s a secret recipe so you may have to ask them for it)

20ml lime juice

20ml pineapple juice

1 dash peach bitters

Ice

Cocktail shaker

 

HOW TO MAKE IT

Pour all the ingredients into the shaker, give it a hard shake and strain into a coupe!
